I used to hate Sabbath days.
When I was a kid, Fridays were just sad. They're the last day of weekdays and I had to apart from the activities I like, such as playing, watching TV. Even the happy things weren't available to be done for the whole day, since Sabbath starts when the sun goes down.
It was like, "ah, it's Friday. When people says Thank God It's Friday, I speak to myself 'it's the end of happiness.'"
TRAGIC? YES.
But now, as I am 14-but-will-be-15 soon, and I join Pathfinder class, I join the pre-Baptism class...
I should tell you: I'M HAPPY WITH THE SABBATH DAYS.
(No one asks, Angela.)
Yeah, sometimes when Fridays come, ya... my child-thinking come, again.
But, when I really ENTER the Sabbath day, I feel like... why did I hate Sabbath? It's fun and peaceful. I gather with friends and family and get closer to my God. I sing, I praise, I pray. And others in the building do the same.
Well, I'm trying to state this one, and try to keep it in my heart: I love Sabbath days, and I enjoy it.
